This role focuses on developing and enhancing custom SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting solutions. You will leverage modern frameworks and agile practices to build scalable, high-performing applications tailored to specific business needs. The position involves designing, coding, and improving components across various systems and applications.

An AI-powered approach is integral to this role, enabling accelerated financial process analysis, configuration, documentation, testing, and troubleshooting. While deep model development is not required, practical application of AI-assisted tools and copilots is essential for optimizing financial operations. The emphasis is on integration, delivering high-quality solutions, and boosting productivity through AI.

Configure and enhance core SAP FI components, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, and Financial Closing. Translate business requirements into scalable SAP configurations, utilizing AI copilots for accelerated analysis and documentation. Support the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare. Integrate SAP FI with other SAP modules (MM, SD, CO, AA) and external systems using standard integration patterns and APIs. Employ AI copilots for drafting functional specifications, validating configurations, generating test scripts, performing impact analysis, and creating documentation. Apply pre-built AI services, such as anomaly detection and forecasting, to enhance finance processes. Utilize AI tools for interpreting financial data, diagnosing errors, and resolving issues more efficiently. Ensure adherence to SDLC, audit controls, finance governance, data accuracy, and system performance standards. Conduct workshops, solution walkthroughs, testing cycles, and troubleshooting sessions, enhanced by AI-generated insights. Collaborate effectively with finance users, functional and technical teams, and cross-module stakeholders to ensure aligned, high-quality solutions. Contribute to the development of reusable templates, checklists, documentation patterns, and AI-assisted development best practices.

A strong understanding of SAP FI S/4HANA processes is crucial, including the Universal Journal, Financial Closing & Reporting, AP/AR Processing, Asset Accounting (AA), Banking & Cash Management, and Taxation and compliance. Experience integrating FI with SAP modules CO, MM, and SD is required. Hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-based assistants, automated documentation tools, and AI-driven testing tools is necessary. Demonstrate an understanding of AI concepts, limitations, responsible AI usage, and the practical application of pre-built AI services (model training, RAG, or agentic development are not the focus). Ability to effectively use AI for analysis, validation, test generation, workflow optimization, and issue resolution is key. Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to finance processes and data. Exhibit clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams. Be capable of translating complex business requirements into well-structured SAP finance solutions. A continuous learning mindset and comfort with adopting AI-enabled workflows are essential. Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience is required.
