Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer, focusing on developing tailored software solutions. You'll design, code, and enhance components using modern frameworks and agile methodologies to create scalable, high-performance applications that meet specific business needs.

This role emphasizes delivering robust, downtime-optimized, and highly automated lifecycle management activities within the ECS environment, leveraging the SPC tool. You will support a diverse range of SAP systems, including ABAP, Java stack, and Non-NetWeaver systems. Key responsibilities include planning, validating, and maintaining procedures according to ECS standards, and adapting non-standard procedures as required by stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include monitoring procedure execution, identifying and analyzing task errors, and gathering feedback for enhancement. You will prepare and maintain task failure analysis reports, track First Time Success Rate, and propose solutions and modifications. Driving procedure enhancements through coordination with developers, Service Owners (SEO), and Product Owners (PO) is crucial. You will also provide support to Delivery colleagues during procedure failures, offering immediate workarounds and proactively following up on tickets. Knowledge sharing within the team and with a larger audience on technical and process aspects is also expected, alongside maintaining documentation for all deliverables.

A minimum of 6 years of SAP Technical Administration experience is required, with specific skills in SAP FRUN. You should possess a strong understanding of Administration, monitoring, and Operations of SAP solutions. Experience with the configuration of Technical Monitoring, System Monitoring, Integration Monitoring, User Experience Monitoring, and Job Monitoring is essential. This includes expertise in alert management, notification management, and automated alert suppression. Familiarity with onboarding SAP systems into the FRUN monitoring landscape, Diagnostics Agent installation and troubleshooting, and managing SDA, Host Agent, and Introscope integrations is necessary. Analyzing automation gaps, performance bottlenecks, false alerts, and monitoring stability issues, along with implementing best practices for proactive monitoring and observability, are key expectations. You must also be willing to work in 24/7 rotational shifts.
