Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer, focusing on building AI-native, enterprise-grade user experiences. You will leverage SAPUI5 and the broader SAP Fiori paradigm, integrating deep front-end engineering skills with agentic AI patterns. The goal is to create intelligent, guided, and adaptive SAP experiences that enhance user productivity while ensuring enterprise-level performance, accessibility, security, and reliability.

This role moves beyond traditional forms and screens to deliver innovative solutions. We are looking for individuals passionate about transforming user interactions within SAP environments.

Develop responsive, user-friendly SAPUI5 interfaces using MVC architecture and component-based patterns. Implement robust data flows with an OData-first mindset and utilize service mocking for development and testing. Integrate AI-driven experiences, enabling the UI to interpret intent, propose actions, and generate contextual guidance. Build tool-augmented UI patterns and retrieval-grounded interactions, ensuring AI outputs align with enterprise knowledge and context.

Create automated test coverage for UI components, optimize performance, and maintainability. Apply SAP Fiori design principles for role-based, consistent experiences across devices. Prototype quickly, demo frequently, and iterate with stakeholders to deliver production-ready UI solutions.

Requires strong hands-on expertise in SAP UI5 development and enterprise UI engineering fundamentals. Mastery of MVC architecture, responsive UI construction, and component-driven development within SAPUI5 is essential. Solid implementation experience with OData and service mocking approaches is necessary.

Proficiency in front-end foundations including JavaScript, JSON, and CSS, coupled with Git-based collaboration skills is a must. The ability to design AI-native UX integrating LLM behaviors with grounding, tool use, and evaluation loops is expected. Familiarity with the SAP Fiori design paradigm and experience with testing approaches for SAPUI5 applications is strongly beneficial.
