We are seeking a Custom Software Engineer to design, code, and enhance system components using modern frameworks and agile practices. This role focuses on delivering scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business requirements, with a core emphasis on SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting.

You will leverage AI-assisted development tools and copilots to accelerate various aspects of financial process management, including analysis, configuration, documentation, testing, and troubleshooting. The position prioritizes efficient integration, quality delivery, and AI-enabled productivity, without requiring deep expertise in model development or advanced LLM/RAG engineering.

Key responsibilities include configuring and enhancing core SAP FI components such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, and Financial Closing. You will translate business needs into scalable SAP configurations, utilize AI copilots for accelerated analysis and documentation, and support end-to-end delivery from requirements to hypercare.

This role involves integrating SAP FI with other SAP modules (MM, SD, CO, AA) and external systems. You will also use AI copilots for drafting functional specifications, validating configurations, generating test scripts, and performing impact analysis. Applying pre-built AI services for anomaly detection and intelligent validations is also part of the role, alongside using AI tools for financial data interpretation and issue resolution.

Candidates must possess strong SAP FI S/4HANA process knowledge, including the Universal Journal, Financial Closing & Reporting, AP/AR Processing, Asset Accounting, Banking & Cash Management, and Taxation. Experience integrating FI with CO, MM, and SD is essential.

AI-ready skills are crucial, requiring hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-based assistants, automated documentation, and AI-driven testing tools. A practical understanding of AI concepts, limitations, and responsible AI usage is expected, focusing on the application of pre-built AI services rather than model training or RAG engineering.

General skills include strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in finance, clear communication, and the capacity to translate business requirements into SAP finance solutions. A continuous learning mindset and comfort with AI-enabled workflows are vital.
