This role focuses on designing, configuring, and enhancing SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting functionalities. You will leverage AI-assisted development tools and copilots to streamline financial process analysis, configuration, documentation, testing, and troubleshooting. The position emphasizes seamless integration, delivering high-quality solutions, and boosting productivity through AI, without requiring in-depth model development or advanced LLM/RAG engineering.

Key responsibilities include configuring and enhancing core SAP FI components such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, and Financial Closing. You will translate business requirements into scalable SAP configurations, utilize AI copilots for accelerated analysis and documentation, and support end-to-end delivery from requirements gathering to hypercare. Integrating SAP FI with other SAP modules and external systems is also crucial. Furthermore, you'll employ AI copilots for functional specifications, validation, test script generation, impact analysis, and documentation, while applying pre-built AI services to enhance finance processes and using AI tools for financial data interpretation and faster issue resolution. Maintaining compliance with SDLC, audit controls, finance governance, data accuracy, and system performance standards is essential. Collaborating with finance users, functional and technical teams, and stakeholders ensures aligned, high-quality solutions. Contributing to reusable templates and best practices for AI-assisted development is also expected.

A strong understanding of SAP FI S/4HANA processes, including the Universal Journal, Financial Closing & Reporting, AP/AR Processing, Asset Accounting, Banking & Cash Management, and Taxation and compliance, is required. Experience integrating FI with CO, MM, and SD is necessary. Hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-based assistants, automated documentation, and AI-driven testing tools is essential. A foundational understanding of AI concepts, limitations, responsible AI usage, and practical application of pre-built AI services is needed. You should be able to use AI for analysis, validation, test generation, workflow optimization, and issue resolution. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in finance processes and data, clear communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams are vital. The capacity to translate business requirements into well-structured SAP finance solutions and a continuous learning mindset with comfort in adopting AI-enabled workflows are also key.
