We are seeking a Custom Software Engineer to design, code, and enhance components across systems and applications. This role involves leveraging modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

The engineer will be expected to work independently and become a subject matter expert, actively participating in team discussions and contributing to problem-solving. The position demands collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective software solutions. Additionally, maintaining and improving existing software, documenting development processes, and assisting junior team members are key aspects of this role.

This is a full-time opportunity requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience with Vue.js. A foundational education of 15 years of full-time study is also a prerequisite.

Develop and enhance custom software solutions, ensuring they are scalable and performant.

Actively participate in team discussions and contribute to the overall problem-solving process.

Collaborate with various teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored software.

Maintain and improve existing software by implementing necessary enhancements.

Document development processes, code changes, and technical specifications.

Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering their professional development.

A minimum of 2 to 5 years of professional experience is required, with a specific emphasis on Vue.js.

Demonstrated proficiency in Vue.js and experience with component-based architectures and state management are essential.

Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and RESTful APIs is necessary.

Ability to write clean, maintainable code and familiarity with version control systems are also key.

Candidates must possess 15 years of full-time education. This role is based at our CDC5A - STPI office in Chennai.
