You will be instrumental in creating tailored software solutions, involving a blend of design, coding, and improvement of system components. The position requires adeptness with contemporary development frameworks and adherence to agile methodologies to ensure efficient software delivery that meets unique business demands. Collaborative work and adaptability to project changes are key to fostering innovation and continuous enhancement of software products.
Develop comprehensive test plans and execute test cases for connected vehicle features, including OTA updates, remote services, V2X communication, and telematics data pipelines.
Validate cellular connectivity across 4G LTE, Cat M, NB IoT, and 5G NR on TCU platforms, including data session handling, handover, and roaming.
Perform V2X protocol conformance testing, validating ITS G5 CAM, DENM, and SAE J2945 BSM, SPAT, MAP messages for integrity.
Conduct end-to-end OTA update validation, covering the full update cycle, fault injection, rollback scenarios, and power cut recovery.
Execute comprehensive telematics service testing, including remote start/unlock, vehicle health reports, eCall simulations, and cloud data ingestion validation.
Test network protocols like MQTT (QoS levels 0, 1, 2) and TLS, ensuring connection resilience and certificate validation.
Perform basic cybersecurity testing, including penetration testing, certificate management, secure boot verification, and access control.
Validate GNSS positioning, assessing time-to-first-fix (TTFF) accuracy and dead reckoning continuity.
Automate connected vehicle regression tests using Python, pytest, Robot Framework, and cloud-based orchestration tools.
Log defects in JIRA/ALM, maintain traceability in Polarion Code Beamer, and prepare VV reports according to ASPICE SWE 4 to SWE 6 standards.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Connected Vehicles or Automotive Telematics or V2X SDV domains is required. A BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or Automotive Engineering, with 15 years of full-time education, is essential.
Must possess expertise in connected vehicle or IoT testing, including cellular network testing (4G LTE, 5G NR) and protocol validation. Proficiency in MQTT, REST, and TLS protocol testing using tools like MQTT Explorer, Postman, Wireshark, and tcp dump is necessary.
Familiarity with V2X protocol testing, ETSI ITS G5, C-V2X conformance tools, and V2X message validation frameworks is required. Experience with OTA update testing, including fault injection and rollback validation, is also crucial.
Understanding of automotive cybersecurity testing basics, certificate validation, secure communication, and access control is necessary. Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation, including pytest and REST API testing, is a key requirement.
Knowledge of GNSS testing methodology, TTFF measurement, accuracy assessment, and Spirent CAST simulation is expected. Familiarity with V2X test environments, TASS, Kapsch, and roadside unit (RSU) simulation is advantageous.
Exposure to cloud backend testing (AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub) and vehicle data pipeline validation is good to have. Understanding eCall/ERA-GLONASS system testing and regulatory conformance validation is also beneficial.
