Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer focused on developing innovative SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) solutions. This role leverages AI-powered tools and modern frameworks to enhance components across systems, delivering scalable and high-performing applications tailored to specific business needs. You will design, configure, and optimize SAP SD processes, utilizing AI assistants for accelerated requirement analysis, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.

We are seeking to deliver efficient Order to Cash (O2C) solutions, integrating pre-built AI services where beneficial. The focus is on improving productivity through AI-enabled assistance, rather than deep AI model development. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and drive efficiency in critical business functions.

Configure and optimize SAP SD components, including Order Management, Pricing, Delivery & Shipment Processing, Billing & Invoicing, Credit Management, and Returns & Refunds. Utilize AI copilots to expedite the creation of functional specifications, validate pricing logic, automate test case generation, and accelerate documentation. Support end-to-end implementation cycles, from requirements gathering and solution design to deployment and post-go-live support. Integrate SD with other SAP modules (MM, FI, PP, WM/EWM) and external systems via standard APIs and middleware.

Apply AI-enabled tools to accelerate process analysis, pricing diagnostics, impact analysis for change requests, test planning, and documentation. Incorporate pre-built AI features into SD workflows for automated exception detection, intelligent order classification, and smart summarization of order/delivery issues. Employ LLM-assisted troubleshooting to reduce incident resolution times.

Ensure solutions adhere to organizational SDLC practices, audit controls, and compliance requirements. Conduct workshops and solution walkthroughs, leveraging AI-supported insights. Partner with logistics, finance, supply chain, and technical teams for end-to-end O2C alignment. Contribute reusable templates and best practices enhanced by AI accelerators.

A strong understanding of SAP SD processes and O2C flows, including order creation, ATP, shipping, billing, credit checks, and pricing procedures, is essential. Experience with SD/FI and SD/MM integrations, as well as cross-module dependencies, is required. Familiarity with master data (customer, material, pricing, credit), IDocs, outputs, and common SD troubleshooting steps is also necessary.

Demonstrate hands-on experience with AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing/analysis tools. You should be able to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into SD process flows and understand responsible AI usage and its limitations in commercial workflows.

Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills in O2C scenarios. The ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP SD configurations is crucial. Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholders are expected. A continuous learning mindset and comfort using AI-augmented productivity tools are key to success in this role.
