This position requires a deep understanding of SAP PP Production Planning & Control within discrete industries. You will leverage AI-assisted development tools and copilots to streamline requirement analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and issue resolution. The focus is on optimizing production planning, shop floor execution, and material staging processes, integrating pre-built AI services where applicable, without requiring extensive AI model engineering or development.

Configure and meticulously support SAP PP processes, encompassing Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Production Orders & Execution, Routings, Work Centers & BOM Management, Capacity Planning & Scheduling, Backflushing & Costing Integration, and Goods Movements & Shop floor Reporting.

Utilize AI copilots to accelerate the creation of functional specifications, validate routings/BOMs, generate test cases for MRP and order creation, and automate documentation. Support the entire delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design through SIT/UAT, deployment, and hypercare.

Integrate PP with MM, QM, SD, FI/CO, and shop floor systems (MES), effectively leveraging standard APIs and middleware. Employ AI copilots for automated summarization of requirements, analysis of MRP exceptions, validation of order execution, and faster defect isolation. Embed pre-built AI services into production workflows for predictive insights, intelligent classification of issues, and automated summarization of batch deviations.

Possess strong SAP PP expertise with a thorough understanding of discrete manufacturing processes, including BOM/routing management, production order cycles, capacity planning, scheduling, and MRP. Demonstrate experience with integration across MM, QM, SD, and FI/CO, alongside familiarity with order confirmations, settlements, and shop floor data capture.

Exhibit AI-ready skills by effectively using AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI-assisted test accelerators. Be comfortable embedding pre-built AI capabilities into production planning and execution, with an awareness of responsible AI usage and its limitations.

Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address production variability and planning outcomes. Translate manufacturing requirements into scalable SAP PP configurations, fostering continuous learning and adopting AI-assisted workflows. A 15-year full-time education is mandatory for this role.
