We are seeking an experienced Custom Software Engineer to design, build, and configure applications tailored to specific business process and application requirements. This role leverages AI-powered tools to enhance SAP Quality Management (QM) processes, accelerating configuration, documentation, analysis, testing, and problem resolution.

The position focuses on delivering robust quality processes across the supply chain. It involves integrating pre-built AI services where beneficial and improving overall productivity through AI-enabled assistance, without requiring deep expertise in AI model engineering or RAG/agentic development.

Key responsibilities include driving QM Functional & Technical Delivery by configuring and enhancing SAP QM processes such as Inspection Planning, Results Recording, Quality Notifications, Corrective Actions, and integration with Procurement, Production, and Warehouse.

You will utilize AI copilots to accelerate the creation of functional specifications, streamline configuration validation, and generate comprehensive test cases. The role also involves supporting end-to-end delivery, integrating QM processes with various SAP modules and external systems, and leveraging AI for enhanced productivity.

AI-assisted productivity tasks include rapid requirement summarization, impact analysis, auto-generation of documentation, faster test case creation, and pattern detection in quality issues. You will also use pre-built AI services for defect classification, predictive quality signals, and automated summarization of quality issues, along with LLM-assisted troubleshooting.

Candidates must possess hands-on experience with SAP QM, including inspection types, quality notifications, inspection lots, usage decisions, catalogs, MICs, sample procedures, and control indicators. A strong understanding of integration dependencies with MM, PP, WM/EWM, SD, and vendor quality is essential.

Experience with AI copilots, LLM-driven documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing/troubleshooting accelerators is required. The ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into QM operations, understanding responsible AI usage, and strong analytical/problem-solving skills are crucial.

Additional qualifications include translating manufacturing requirements into scalable SAP QM configurations, clear communication, collaboration skills, and a continuous learning mindset embracing AI augmented workflows. A minimum of 3 years of experience is required for this full-time role.
