Design and develop ABAP Cloud applications, embedding LLM-driven intelligence into SAP business processes. Implement AI-enabled SAP extensions using modern frameworks like the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) and event-driven patterns. Build clean, testable ABAP code that seamlessly integrates with AI services and enterprise APIs.

Integrate agentic workflows, including tools, planners, memory, and orchestration loops, with SAP processes. Connect LLMs, embeddings, and retrieval augmented generation (RAG) pipelines with ABAP Cloud services. Develop prompt templates, grounding strategies, and robust fallback logic for enterprise SAP use cases.

Construct and integrate retrieval pipelines utilizing both SAP and non-SAP data sources. Implement chunking, indexing, embeddings, and context assembly for production-grade RAG scenarios. Ensure factuality, traceability, and explainability within AI-driven SAP workflows.

Implement comprehensive evaluation frameworks for AI behaviors within SAP processes. Design guardrails for authorization, data privacy, action boundaries, and error handling. Build observability features, including telemetry and logging, into AI-enabled SAP applications.

Rapidly prototype and iterate on AI solutions based on business feedback. Transition AI prototypes into enterprise-grade SAP production systems, prioritizing performance, security, and compliance. Continuously refine AI behavior, prompts, and orchestration strategies for optimal results.

A strong foundation in SAP ABAP Cloud is essential, including expertise in RAP, CDS, OData, and clean core principles. Hands-on experience integrating LLMs and AI services into applications is a must, as is practical experience in building RAG pipelines, embeddings, and contextual retrieval systems.

Robust software engineering fundamentals are required, encompassing design, testing, and CI/CD practices. The ability to translate complex business problems into effective AI-enabled SAP solutions is crucial for success in this role.
