This role is focused on building AI-native, cloud-ready SAP solutions using ABAP Cloud. You will leverage deep ABAP and SAP platform expertise combined with AI architectures, LLM tooling, and rapid experimentation. The position emphasizes designing, implementing, and scaling intelligent SAP applications that seamlessly integrate ABAP Cloud with large language models, retrieval pipelines, and enterprise systems. This is an opportunity to move beyond simple automation towards true autonomy within SAP environments.

Design and build ABAP Cloud applications that embed AI-driven intelligence into core SAP business processes. Implement AI-enabled SAP extensions using modern programming models and cloud-native architectures, ensuring clean, testable, and integrated code. Develop agentic workflows by integrating LLMs, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines with SAP services. Build and integrate retrieval pipelines from various data sources, focusing on factuality, traceability, and explainability in AI-driven workflows. Implement evaluation frameworks, design guardrails for security and privacy, and build observability into AI-enabled applications.

Requires a minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on SAP ABAP Cloud development. Essential skills include proficiency in SAP ABAP Cloud (RAP, CDS, OData, clean core principles), hands-on experience integrating LLMs and AI services, and building RAG pipelines. Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals such as design, testing, and CI/CD is crucial. The ability to translate complex business problems into innovative AI-enabled SAP solutions is a key requirement. A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is also necessary.
