You will focus on designing, implementing, and scaling intelligent SAP applications. The position involves integrating ABAP Cloud with LLMs, retrieval pipelines, and enterprise systems, driving the evolution from automation to true autonomy in SAP environments. This is a hands-on opportunity to actively build AI systems and innovative solutions.

Design and build advanced ABAP Cloud applications, embedding LLM-driven intelligence into core SAP business processes. Implement AI-enabled SAP extensions leveraging the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP), event-driven patterns, and modern cloud-native architectures.

Develop clean, meticulously tested ABAP code that seamlessly integrates with AI services and enterprise APIs. Implement agentic workflows, including tools, planners, memory, orchestration, and evaluation loops, all integrated within SAP processes. Integrate LLMs, embeddings, and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines with ABAP Cloud services to deliver contextual and grounded responses. Design robust prompt templates, grounding strategies, fallback logic, and safety boundaries tailored for enterprise SAP use cases.

A strong foundation in SAP ABAP Cloud is essential, including expertise in RAP, CDS, OData, and clean core principles. Hands-on experience integrating LLMs and AI services into applications is required, alongside proven ability in building RAG pipelines, embeddings, and contextual retrieval systems.

Solid software engineering fundamentals, encompassing design, testing, and CI/CD practices, are crucial. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to translate complex business problems into effective AI-enabled SAP solutions. Familiarity with SAP BTP, eventing, APIs, cloud services, agent frameworks, or custom orchestration logic is highly beneficial.
