- Independently perform duties and develop expertise in assigned areas. - Actively participate and contribute to team discussions and problem-solving. - Provide solutions to technical challenges and support audio subsystem bring-up during EVT/DVT/PVT. - Conduct issue triage, root cause analysis, and validate fixes. - Analyze audio logs, traces, and dumps to identify and resolve issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications from requirements. - Ensure optimal performance through thorough testing and debugging of audio system components. - Maintain clear documentation for design specifications, code changes, and testing procedures.

A solid foundation in programming and analytical skills, particularly with C/C++, is essential. Understanding of embedded systems, including RTOS, interrupts, and tasks, is required. Experience with device drivers for Linux or Windows and embedded or OS-level audio stacks is necessary. Proven expertise in audio systems and software engineering, with familiarity in audio streaming frameworks like OpenMax, SOF, or ALSA, is highly valued.

Candidates should possess a good grasp of audio architectures (CODEC, DSP, AMP, I2S, TDM, PCM, SoundWire, etc.). Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities are crucial for resolving audio issues across drivers, firmware, DSP, and OS layers. Proficiency in analyzing audio logs, traces, and dumps, along with knowledge of using tools like CRO, Logic Analyzer, and Audio Precision, is expected. Familiarity with schematics, datasheets, and build systems, including Cmake and Makefiles, is beneficial. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Embedded C is mandatory. A 15-year full-time education is a requirement for this role.
