Develop comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases for electrification features, including BMS, SOC accuracy, cell balancing, and motor control. Build and maintain sophisticated battery cell simulators and HIL benches for robust hardware and software validation.
Configure advanced motor inverter HIL test environments for precise motor emulation and regenerative braking tests. Execute ISO 15118 charging protocol conformance testing, validating communication integrity and session timing. Perform rigorous ISO 26262 ASIL D safety mechanism tests, including fault injection and critical protection validation.
Create automated regression test scripts using Python, CAPL, or MATLAB Simulink for efficient BMS function-level regression. Conduct detailed power electronics performance tests, analyzing efficiency maps and power factor. Validate charging system interoperability across various standards and third-party equipment.
Analyze test results using advanced data analytics techniques to generate insightful plots and performance dashboards. Maintain meticulous requirements traceability and ASPICE VV documentation, adhering to ISO 26262 standards.
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Automotive Electrification, xEV Embedded Systems, BMS, Motor Control, OBC, or Powertrain is required. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Power Electronics, Automotive Engineering, or Computer Science, completed with 15 years of full-time education, is essential.
Must possess hands-on experience with battery cell simulators and HIL test benches, along with a strong understanding of ISO 26262 ASIL D testing methodologies. Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and CAPL for test automation and data analysis is crucial. Familiarity with EV charging standards and power quality measurement tools is also necessary.
