Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer and play a key role in developing innovative software solutions. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and enhancing system components using modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver high-performing, scalable applications tailored to specific business requirements.

This role focuses on leveraging AI-assisted development tools to enhance financial processes within SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting. You will accelerate tasks like financial process analysis, configuration, documentation, testing, and troubleshooting, emphasizing integration and quality delivery. Deep model development or advanced LLM/RAG engineering is not a primary focus.

Configure and enhance core SAP FI components, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, and Financial Closing. Translate complex business requirements into efficient SAP configurations, utilizing AI copilots to streamline analysis and documentation.

Support the entire project lifecycle from requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare. Integrate SAP FI with other SAP modules (MM, SD, CO, AA) and external systems using standard integration patterns and APIs. Utilize AI copilots for drafting functional specifications, validating configurations, generating test scripts, performing impact analysis, and creating documentation.

Apply pre-built AI services for anomaly detection, forecasting, and intelligent validations to optimize finance processes. Leverage AI tools for financial data interpretation, error diagnosis, and rapid issue resolution. Ensure adherence to SDLC, audit controls, finance governance, data accuracy, and system performance standards. Collaborate with finance users, functional and technical teams, and cross-module stakeholders to deliver aligned, high-quality solutions. Contribute to the development of reusable templates, checklists, documentation patterns, and best practices for AI-assisted development.

A strong foundation in SAP FI S/4HANA processes is essential, covering Universal Journal, Financial Closing & Reporting, AP/AR Processing, Asset Accounting (AA), Banking & Cash Management, and Taxation/compliance. Experience integrating FI with CO, MM, and SD modules is required.

Demonstrate hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-based assistants, automated documentation tools, and AI-driven testing. Possess a solid understanding of AI concepts, limitations, responsible AI usage, and the practical application of pre-built AI services. The ability to use AI for analysis, validation, test generation, workflow optimization, and issue resolution is crucial.

We are seeking candidates with strong analytical and problem-solving skills in finance processes and data. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams are vital. You should be adept at translating business requirements into well-structured SAP finance solutions and possess a continuous learning mindset, comfortable adopting AI-enabled workflows. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is necessary.
