Develop cutting-edge, AI-native SAP solutions on ABAP Cloud. This role focuses on building intelligent applications that integrate deep ABAP expertise with advanced AI architectures, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and rapid experimentation.

You will design, implement, and scale sophisticated SAP applications by connecting ABAP Cloud with LLMs, retrieval pipelines, and enterprise systems. The emphasis is on moving beyond simple automation to create truly autonomous AI-driven workflows within the SAP ecosystem.

Design and build AI-embedded ABAP Cloud applications. Implement AI extensions using modern ABAP programming models and cloud-native patterns. Develop robust, testable ABAP code that interfaces with AI services.

Integrate agentic workflows, LLMs, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines. Design prompt templates, grounding strategies, and fallback mechanisms for enterprise SAP use cases.

Build and integrate data retrieval pipelines from various SAP and non-SAP sources. Ensure factuality, traceability, and explainability in AI-driven SAP workflows. Implement evaluation frameworks and guardrails for AI behavior, including authorization and data privacy.

A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in software engineering is required, with a strong emphasis on SAP ABAP Cloud. Proficiency in RAP, CDS, OData, and clean core principles is essential.

Hands-on experience integrating LLMs and AI services into applications is a must. You should have experience building RAG pipelines, working with embeddings, and implementing contextual retrieval.

Solid software engineering fundamentals, including design, testing, and CI/CD practices, are expected. The ability to translate complex business challenges into innovative AI-enabled SAP solutions is crucial.
