We are seeking a Custom Software Engineer with a focus on SAP Sales and Distribution (SD). This role involves developing and enhancing custom software solutions, leveraging modern frameworks and agile practices.

You will be instrumental in designing, configuring, and improving SAP SD processes, utilizing AI-powered development tools and copilots to streamline tasks such as requirement analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.

The position is dedicated to delivering efficient Order to Cash (O2C) solutions. You will integrate pre-built AI services where beneficial and enhance productivity through AI assistance, rather than focusing on deep AI model development or agentic AI systems.

Configure and optimize SAP SD components, including order management, pricing, delivery processing, billing, credit management, and returns. Utilize AI copilots to generate functional specifications, validate pricing logic, automate test case creation, and expedite documentation. Support full implementation cycles, from requirements gathering and solution design through deployment and post-go-live support. Integrate SAP SD with other modules like MM, FI, PP, WM/EWM, and external systems using standard APIs and middleware. Apply AI-enabled tools to accelerate process analysis, pricing diagnostics, impact analysis, test planning, and documentation automation. Incorporate pre-built AI features into SD workflows, such as automated exception detection, intelligent order classification, and smart summarization of issues. Employ LLM assistance for troubleshooting incidents to reduce resolution times. Ensure solutions comply with organizational SDLC practices, audit controls, and governance requirements. Conduct workshops and walkthroughs, leveraging AI insights for optimization discussions. Collaborate with logistics, finance, supply chain, master data, and technical teams to align O2C processes. Contribute reusable templates, test packs, and best practices enhanced by AI accelerators.

Possess strong SAP SD expertise, including a deep understanding of O2C processes like order creation, ATP, shipping, billing, credit checks, and pricing procedures. Demonstrate experience with SD/FI and SD/MM integrations, as well as cross-module dependencies. Exhibit knowledge of master data (customer, material, pricing, credit), IDocs, outputs, and common SD troubleshooting steps. Have hands-on experience with AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing and analysis tools. Be capable of integrating pre-built AI capabilities into SD process flows. Understand responsible AI usage and its limitations within commercial workflows. Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills within O2C scenarios. Be able to translate business requirements into scalable SAP SD configurations. Possess effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholders. Maintain a continuous learning mindset and be comfortable using AI-augmented productivity tools.
