This position is ideal for a proactive engineer with a strong foundation in DevOps principles and cloud technologies. You will play a key role in the entire lifecycle of scalable cloud-native platforms, from design and automation to deployment and support, utilizing tools like Kubernetes, AWS, and Terraform.
As a Custom Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include: - Developing, maintaining, and optimizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for AWS resource management. - Designing and implementing Ansible playbooks for automated configuration and system provisioning. - Building and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub for automated deployments. - Configuring and maintaining Kubernetes and Amazon EKS environments, ensuring platform stability and security. - Deploying applications using Helm charts and GitOps methodologies, ensuring reliable release management. - Managing Docker containerization, image optimization, and deployment best practices. - Implementing various deployment strategies (Rolling, Blue-Green, Canary) with rollback capabilities. - Configuring monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for cloud and container platforms. - Supporting infrastructure scaling and performance optimization based on evolving requirements.
To excel in this role, you should possess: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant role, with a focus on DevOps and Platform Engineering. - Proficiency in Kubernetes administration and deployment management, particularly with Amazon EKS. - Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code, including module development and state management. - Expertise in Ansible for configuration management and system provisioning. - Proven experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub. - Solid understanding of Docker containerization and image lifecycle management. - Extensive experience with AWS cloud services, including VPC, IAM, EC2, and EKS. - Strong Linux administration and shell scripting skills (Bash, Python). - Experience troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters, workloads, and networking issues. - A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
