Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer, where you will craft sophisticated custom software solutions. This role involves designing, coding, and refining components across various systems and applications, utilizing modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to unique business requirements. You will play a key part in enhancing SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting capabilities by leveraging AI-assisted development tools and copilots to streamline financial process analysis, configuration, documentation, and troubleshooting.

This position emphasizes seamless integration, delivering high-quality outcomes, and maximizing AI-enabled productivity. It does not require deep model development or advanced LLM/RAG engineering expertise.

Configure and enhance core SAP FI components, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, and Financial Closing. Translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP configurations, employing AI copilots to expedite analysis and documentation processes. Provide comprehensive support throughout the entire delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare. Facilitate integration of SAP FI with other SAP modules like MM, SD, CO, AA, as well as external systems, using standard integration patterns and APIs.

Utilize AI copilots for drafting functional specifications, validating configurations, generating test scripts, performing impact analyses, and creating documentation. Apply pre-built AI services, such as anomaly detection and intelligent validations, to optimize financial processes. Leverage AI tools for interpreting financial data, diagnosing errors, and accelerating issue resolution.

Ensure adherence to SDLC, audit controls, finance governance, data accuracy, and system performance standards. Conduct workshops, solution walkthroughs, testing cycles, and troubleshooting sessions, informed by AI-enhanced insights. Collaborate effectively with finance users, functional and technical teams, and cross-module stakeholders to deliver cohesive, high-quality solutions. Contribute to the development of reusable templates, checklists, documentation patterns, and best practices for AI-assisted development.

A strong understanding of SAP FI S/4HANA processes is essential, including the Universal Journal, Financial Closing & Reporting, AP/AR Processing, Asset Accounting (AA), Banking & Cash Management, and Taxation and compliance. Demonstrated experience integrating SAP FI with SAP CO, MM, and SD modules is required. Hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-based assistants, automated documentation tools, and AI-driven testing is crucial. A foundational understanding of AI concepts, their limitations, responsible AI usage, and the practical application of pre-built AI services (model training, RAG, or agentic development are not required) is necessary. Proficiency in using AI for analysis, validation, test generation, workflow optimization, and issue resolution is expected.

Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities concerning finance processes and data. Exhibit clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams. Demonstrate the capability to translate business requirements into well-structured SAP finance solutions. Maintain a continuous learning mindset with a comfort level in adopting AI-enabled workflows.
