We are seeking a skilled MATLAB Developer to actively contribute to model-based development for BCM application software and automotive body electronics features. Your responsibilities will encompass MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow model creation, interpreting requirements, simulation, debugging, supporting auto-code generation, meticulous documentation, and fostering collaboration across diverse engineering teams.
-Develop and maintain MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow models for BCM application software and automotive body electronics. -Translate system and software requirements into model-based design components, control logic, and state machines. -Implement core BCM functions such as lighting, wipers, central locking, and power windows using MATLAB and Simulink. -Conduct model simulations, debugging, unit-level verification, and functional validation in MIL and SIL environments. -Support auto-code generation from Simulink models and assist embedded software teams with integration and issue debugging. -Create comprehensive documentation for models, design notes, interfaces, and calibration parameters. -Ensure model quality aligns with development guidelines, naming conventions, and data usage standards. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify functional behavior and resolve technical challenges. -Analyze defects, update models, perform regression checks, and provide technical clarifications throughout the development lifecycle.
-Possess 4 to 6 years of experience in automotive embedded software development, MATLAB/Simulink model-based development, or control software design. -Demonstrate hands-on expertise in MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, model debugging, simulation, and model-based software design. -Proven experience in developing control logic, state machines, reusable subsystems, and managing signal routing and data dictionaries. -Exhibit a strong understanding of the automotive ECU software development lifecycle, particularly for BCM or similar vehicle domains. -Possess working knowledge of Model-in-the-Loop, Software-in-the-Loop, unit testing, and simulation-based verification. -Familiarity with automatic code generation tools like Embedded Coder or TargetLink is advantageous. -Working knowledge of automotive communication protocols like CAN, CAN FD, LIN, and UDS diagnostics. -Exposure to requirements management, traceability, configuration management tools (e.g., JIRA, Git), and defect lifecycle management. -Ability to work effectively in Agile or V-model delivery environments and collaborate with distributed teams.
