Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer and spearhead the development of innovative software solutions. You will design, code, and refine components across various systems, leveraging modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performance applications tailored to specific business requirements.

This role focuses on building, configuring, and deploying Copilot Studio agents from end-to-end. You'll be responsible for designing topics, knowledge sources, and generative answers, while extending agent capabilities using Power Automate, MCP Server tool connections, and Azure AI Foundry models.

Design and construct robust Copilot Studio agents, meticulously defining topics, trigger phrases, entities, variables, and conversation flows. Configure generative orchestration, knowledge sources, and generative answers to ensure accurate agent responses. Develop and maintain Power Automate flows for advanced automation, backend processes, and integration with line-of-business systems.

Implement and utilize MCP Server tool/plugin connections to enhance agent functionality beyond native capabilities. Manage agent publishing across diverse channels like Teams, web, and custom applications, adhering to environment and ALM best practices. Refine agent behavior, instructions, and prompts within Copilot Studio, and employ Azure AI Foundry for sophisticated model selection or custom grounding when needed.

A strong development background with hands-on expertise in Microsoft Copilot Studio is essential, covering topics, generative orchestration, knowledge sources, publishing, and ALM. Proficiency in Power Automate for flow-based automation and integration with Copilot Studio agents is required. Experience with configuring MCP Server/tool connections to expand agent actions is also necessary.

Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry for model selection, prompt engineering, and grounding patterns (such as RAG and agentic workflows) is a valuable asset. A solid understanding of responsible AI principles and bias/safety validation practices is expected. Agile delivery experience, coupled with strong debugging and conversational-flow troubleshooting skills, is preferred.
