This role focuses on developing and enhancing custom software solutions. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and improving components across various systems and applications. By leveraging modern frameworks and agile methodologies, the aim is to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that precisely meet specific business requirements.

Key responsibilities include the end-to-end development of Copilot Studio agents. This involves designing topics, configuring knowledge sources, and implementing generative answers. You will extend agent capabilities using Power Automate, MCP Server tool connections, and Azure AI Foundry-hosted models as needed. Furthermore, responsibilities encompass building and maintaining Power Automate flows for backend processes and system integrations, configuring and testing agent publishing across multiple channels, and managing environment and ALM practices. Tuning agent behavior, instructions, and prompts, including advanced model selection via Azure AI Foundry, is also crucial. Unit-level testing, troubleshooting conversational issues, and applying responsible AI practices are integral parts of the role. Collaboration with architects and team leads on design, security, and ALM alignment, including participation in reviews, is expected.

A strong foundation in software development is essential, with significant hands-on expertise in Microsoft Copilot Studio, covering topics, generative orchestration, knowledge sources, publishing, and ALM. Familiarity with Power Automate for flow-based automation and integration with Copilot Studio agents is required. Experience configuring MCP Server/tool connections to enhance agent actions is necessary. Working knowledge of Azure AI Foundry for model selection, prompt engineering, and grounding patterns such as RAG and agentic workflows is beneficial. A solid understanding of responsible AI principles and bias/safety validation practices is expected. Agile delivery experience, along with strong debugging and conversational-flow troubleshooting skills, is preferred.
