Opportunity for a Custom Software Engineer to design, code, and enhance software components. This role focuses on leveraging modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions tailored for specific business requirements.
We are seeking an IT Container Platform Systems Engineer to operate, maintain, and ensure the reliability of scalable container platforms essential for global logistics operations. This position involves seamless integration of container technologies with existing IT infrastructure to guarantee stable and efficient platform operations across various cloud environments. The role emphasizes deployment processes, resource utilization, and platform performance for continuous availability and service stability.
Key responsibilities include operating and maintaining highly available Kubernetes clusters, monitoring cluster health, and resolving incidents. You will implement automation for deployments, manage Kubernetes resource utilization for cost efficiency, and enforce security controls. Performing backup and recovery operations, diagnosing complex cluster issues, and developing CI/CD pipelines are also crucial. Evaluating emerging technologies and designing persistent storage solutions are part of this role.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, with a strong emphasis on cloud computing and container technologies. Deep expertise in Kubernetes architecture, APIs, control plane internals, and Docker/Podman is essential, along with experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Proficiency in managing Kubernetes and OpenShift cluster lifecycles using infrastructure-as-code and automation practices is also necessary.
Established experience in networking concepts, including CNI plugins. Expertise in managing persistent storage solutions within Kubernetes. Proficiency in cluster security controls, including RBAC and policy engines. Knowledge of optimization, scaling, and ensuring the reliability of containerized workloads. Expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines. Proficient in administering container registries (e.g., Harbor). Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack is beneficial.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Red Hat OpenShift is mandatory. Fifteen years of full-time education is required.
