We are seeking a Custom Software Engineer to develop and enhance custom software solutions. This role involves designing, coding, and improving components across various systems, utilizing modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable and high-performing applications tailored to specific business needs. A key focus will be on leveraging AI-assisted development tools and copilots to streamline processes.

This position centers on delivering efficient Order to Cash (O2C) solutions. You will integrate pre-built AI services to enhance productivity rather than focusing on deep AI model development. The aim is to accelerate requirement analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting through AI-enabled assistance.

Configure and optimize SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) components, including Order Management, Pricing, Conditions, Discounts, Delivery, Shipment Processing, Billing, Invoicing, Credit Management, and Returns. Utilize AI copilots for drafting functional specifications, validating pricing logic, automating test case generation, and expediting documentation. Support full implementation cycles, encompassing requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, SIT/UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support. Integrate SD with other modules like MM, FI, PP, WM/EWM, and external systems using standard APIs and middleware. Leverage AI tools to accelerate process analysis, pricing issue diagnostics, impact analysis for changes, test planning, and documentation automation. Incorporate pre-built AI features into SD workflows for automated exception detection, intelligent order classification, and smart issue summarization. Employ LLM-assisted troubleshooting during incidents to reduce resolution times. Ensure solutions comply with organizational SDLC, audit controls, pricing governance, and compliance requirements. Conduct workshops and solution walkthroughs, using AI-supported insights for optimization discussions. Collaborate with logistics, finance, supply chain, master data, and technical teams for seamless O2C alignment. Contribute reusable templates and best practices, enhanced by AI-assisted accelerators.

Possess strong SAP SD expertise with a deep understanding of O2C processes, including order creation, ATP, shipping, billing, credit checks, and pricing procedures. Demonstrate experience with SD/FI and SD/MM integrations and understanding of cross-module dependencies. Exhibit knowledge of master data (customer, material, pricing, credit), IDocs, outputs, and common SD troubleshooting steps. Have hands-on experience with AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing/analysis tools. Be able to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into SD process flows. Understand responsible AI usage and its limitations in commercial workflows. Show strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in O2C scenarios. Be adept at translating business requirements into scalable SAP SD configurations. Possess effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholders. Maintain a continuous learning mindset and be comfortable using AI-augmented productivity tools. A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
