We are seeking a Custom Software Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to join our team in Bengaluru. This role involves building AI-native enterprise applications on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). You will combine strong platform engineering skills with agentic AI application patterns to develop, deploy, and operate intelligent cloud applications.

The focus is on rapid prototyping and production hardening, creating solutions that enhance business workflows by embedding AI capabilities. This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to transformative projects.

Develop and enhance custom software components across various systems and applications, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices.

Build, deploy, and manage cloud applications on SAP BTP, covering platform fundamentals, administration, solution design, and full-stack development (frontend and backend).

Design data models and database artifacts, integrating applications with SAP HANA-based persistence patterns.

Configure SAP BTP subaccounts, service instances, roles, and connectivity for seamless integration.

Implement LLM-integrated features within BTP applications, including tool calling, orchestration, memory handling, and safety boundaries.

Develop retrieval-grounded experiences (RAG-style) over enterprise content and APIs, ensuring clear fallback behaviors and implementing evaluation loops for AI performance monitoring.

A strong foundation in SAP BTP application development, encompassing platform architecture, administration basics, solution design, and frontend/backend development.

Hands-on experience in full-stack implementation, including backend services, APIs, data models, and UI integration.

Proficiency in developing backend services and APIs using Node.js and building responsive UI components with SAPUI5.

Solid understanding of database artifacts and data modeling, with experience connecting applications to SAP HANA.

Experience with platform setup and deployment engineering, including configuring subaccounts, service instances, and using MTA-style deployment artifacts.

Familiarity with Git-based workflows for source control and collaboration, operating within Agile/Scrum delivery models.

A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required, with a total of 15 years of full-time education.
