Drive innovation as a Custom Software Engineer, focusing on developing bespoke SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting solutions. This role leverages modern frameworks and agile methodologies to create scalable, high-performance financial systems tailored to unique business requirements. You will utilize AI-assisted development tools and copilots to streamline financial process analysis, configuration, documentation, and troubleshooting, enhancing overall productivity without requiring deep AI model development.

Configure and enhance core SAP FI components including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, and Financial Closing. Translate business requirements into scalable SAP configurations, using AI copilots for accelerated analysis and documentation. Support end-to-end delivery from requirements gathering to hypercare, integrating SAP FI with other SAP modules (MM, SD, CO, AA) and external systems.

Utilize AI copilots for functional specifications, configuration validation, test script generation, and impact analysis. Apply pre-built AI services for anomaly detection and intelligent validations to optimize finance processes. Leverage AI tools for financial data interpretation and faster issue resolution.

Ensure adherence to SDLC, audit controls, finance governance, and system performance standards. Conduct workshops, walkthroughs, and testing cycles using AI-enhanced insights. Collaborate with finance users, functional and technical teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Contribute to reusable templates, best practices, and AI-assisted development guides.

Possess strong SAP FI S/4HANA process expertise, including Universal Journal, Financial Closing & Reporting, AP/AR Processing, Asset Accounting, Banking & Cash Management, and Taxation. Demonstrate experience integrating FI with CO, MM, and SD.

Have hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-based assistants, automated documentation, and AI-driven testing tools. Understand AI concepts, limitations, responsible AI usage, and practical application of pre-built AI services. Ability to use AI for analysis, validation, test generation, workflow optimization, and issue resolution.
