Join us as a Custom Software Engineer focused on SAP MM. This role involves designing, coding, and enhancing system components using modern frameworks and agile methodologies. You'll deliver scalable, high-performance solutions tailored to specific business needs, leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate tasks. The goal is to streamline procurement, inventory management, and supplier collaboration, enhancing productivity through integrated AI capabilities without requiring deep LLM development expertise.

Configure and optimize SAP MM processes, including Procure-to-Pay, requisition/order management, vendor, and inventory management. Utilize AI copilots for generating specifications, validating logic, creating test cases, and automating documentation. Support end-to-end delivery from requirements to hypercare and integrate MM with other SAP modules and external systems. Apply AI tools to accelerate requirement interpretation, data validation, error diagnostics, and test creation. Integrate pre-built AI services for automated classification, predictive signals, and intelligent summarization of issues. Employ LLM-assisted troubleshooting for faster incident resolution. Ensure compliance with procurement governance and audit policies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive MM solutions. Contribute reusable templates and AI-augmented best practices.

Requires strong SAP MM expertise, including P2P processes, purchasing flows, vendor evaluation, and inventory management. Experience configuring material master, vendor master, PO/PR processing, goods movements, and release strategies is essential. Familiarity with SD, FI, PP, and QM integrations, along with IDocs, outputs, pricing procedures, and common MM troubleshooting is needed. Demonstrate hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing accelerators. Ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into MM workflows for automation and insight generation is key. Understanding of responsible AI usage and its limitations in procurement contexts is expected. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to translate business requirements into SAP MM configurations, clear communication, and a continuous learning mindset are crucial.
