Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer, focusing on SAP Sales and Distribution (SD). This role involves designing, coding, and enhancing system components using modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions. You'll leverage AI-assisted development tools to streamline requirement analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting, contributing to efficient Order to Cash (O2C) solutions.

We seek an individual to configure and optimize SAP SD processes, including order management, pricing, delivery, billing, and credit management. The position emphasizes utilizing AI copilots to accelerate the creation of functional specifications, validate pricing logic, automate test cases, and expedite documentation. You will support end-to-end implementation cycles and integrate SD with various modules and external systems.

This role also focuses on AI-enabled productivity enhancements, such as accelerating process analysis, diagnosing pricing issues, impact analysis, and test planning. You will incorporate pre-built AI features into SD workflows and utilize LLM assistance for incident troubleshooting, aiming to reduce resolution times. Additionally, you will ensure solutions adhere to SDLC practices, audit controls, and compliance requirements, fostering collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Configure and optimize SAP SD components including Order Management, Pricing, Conditions & Discounts, Delivery & Shipment Processing, Billing & Invoicing, Credit Management, and Returns & Refunds. Utilize AI copilots to draft functional specs, validate pricing logic, automate test case generation, and accelerate documentation creation. Support end-to-end implementation cycles: requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, SIT/UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support. Integrate SD with MM, FI, PP, WM/EWM, and external systems via standard APIs and middleware. Apply AI-enabled tools to accelerate process analysis, pricing issue diagnostics, impact analysis, test planning, and documentation automation. Incorporate pre-built AI features into SD workflows for automated exception detection, intelligent order classification, and smart summarization of issues. Use LLM assisted troubleshooting during incidents to reduce resolution time. Ensure solutions adhere to organizational SDLC practices, audit controls, pricing governance, and compliance requirements. Conduct workshops, solution walkthroughs, and optimization discussions using AI-supported insights. Partner with logistics, finance, supply chain, master data, and technical teams for end-to-end O2C alignment. Contribute reusable templates, test packs, and best practices enhanced by AI assisted accelerators.

Possess a strong understanding of O2C processes, including order creation, ATP, shipping, billing, credit checks, and pricing procedures. Experience with SD/FI and SD/MM integrations, along with an understanding of cross-module dependencies. Knowledge of master data (customer, material, pricing, credit), IDocs, outputs, and common SD troubleshooting steps is essential. Demonstrate hands-on experience using AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing/analysis tools. Ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into SD process flows, rather than developing custom LLMs or agentic systems. Possess an understanding of responsible AI usage and its limitations, particularly within commercial workflows. Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in O2C scenarios. Translate business requirements into scalable SAP SD configurations effectively. Communicate and collaborate efficiently with cross-functional stakeholders. Maintain a continuous learning mindset and be comfortable using AI-augmented productivity tools. A minimum of 3 years of experience is required, with a preference for 2-5 years. A 15-year full-time education is mandatory.
