Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer to craft innovative software solutions. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and enhancing system and application components, leveraging modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performance results. This role focuses on creating tailored solutions to meet specific business requirements.

We are looking for a skilled professional with a strong background in Automotive ECU Software to contribute to our custom software engineering initiatives.

Responsibilities

Develop and refine MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow models for BCM application software and automotive body electronics. Translate system and software requirements into detailed model-based designs, including control logic, state machines, and reusable libraries. Implement key BCM functions like lighting, wipers, and power windows. Conduct model simulations, debugging, and verification using MIL/SIL environments. Support automatic code generation and collaborate with embedded software teams for integration and troubleshooting.

Create and maintain comprehensive model documentation, design notes, and interface details. Ensure model quality by adhering to established guidelines and conventions. Work closely with cross-functional teams to clarify functional behavior and resolve technical challenges. Participate in defect analysis, model updates, and regression testing throughout the development lifecycle. Uphold automotive engineering standards, configuration management, and customer delivery expectations.

Qualifications

A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in automotive embedded software development, with a focus on MATLAB/Simulink model-based development. Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow for model development, debugging, and simulation is essential. Experience developing control logic, state machines, and reusable model components is required.

Solid understanding of the automotive ECU software development lifecycle, particularly for BCM or body electronics domains. Familiarity with Model-in-the-Loop and Software-in-the-Loop testing is necessary. Knowledge of CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, and UDS diagnostics is advantageous. Experience with requirements management, configuration management tools, and agile delivery environments is preferred.
