Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer, focusing on developing cutting-edge software solutions for automotive digital cockpits. This role involves designing, coding, and enhancing components using modern frameworks and agile methodologies. You'll contribute to scalable, high-performance systems tailored to specific business needs, working within the VHAL and Car Framework under expert guidance.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to rapidly build expertise in AOSP and automotive concepts, contributing to impactful projects.

You will be responsible for implementing well-defined changes, such as adding properties, extending signal mappings, and wiring new callbacks. Maintaining and writing unit tests for existing and new code to improve module coverage is crucial. Additionally, you'll develop and manage development and test tooling, including property injection scripts and log parsers.

This role also involves assisting with build, flash, and bring-up activities on development boards. Reproducing reported defects, gathering essential logs, and resolving straightforward issues with support will be part of your duties. You will actively learn the AOSP build workflow and team coding conventions, participate in code reviews, and maintain crucial documentation.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in Automotive Digital Cockpit Solutions is required. Candidates should possess 3+ years of software engineering experience with meaningful Android or embedded systems exposure. Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin, along with working C++ fundamentals, is essential.

A solid understanding of Android application and service fundamentals, basic Linux command-line competence, and Git fluency are necessary. We seek individuals with a demonstrated ability and willingness to quickly learn platform-level concepts. A 15-year full-time education is a prerequisite for this position.
