This role focuses on developing custom software solutions, specifically leveraging Microsoft Copilot Studio to create intelligent agents. You will design, code, and enhance components across various systems, utilizing modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performing applications tailored to business needs. The position involves building end-to-end Copilot Studio agents, including defining topics, knowledge sources, and generative answers, while extending their capabilities with Power Automate and Azure AI Foundry.

Key responsibilities include designing and building Copilot Studio agents, configuring generative orchestration, and implementing Power Automate flows for backend processes and system integration. You will also work with MCP Server tool connections and Azure AI Foundry for advanced model selection. Testing agent publishing across channels, managing ALM practices, and applying responsible AI principles are integral parts of this role.

Design and build robust Copilot Studio agents, meticulously crafting topics, trigger phrases, entities, and conversation flows.

Configure generative orchestration, knowledge sources, and generative answers to ensure accurate and contextually relevant agent responses.

Develop and maintain Power Automate flows to enhance agent functionality, manage backend operations, and integrate with line-of-business systems.

Implement and utilize MCP Server tool/plugin connections to expand agent capabilities beyond native Copilot Studio features.

Manage agent publishing across various channels, including Teams, web, and custom applications, while adhering to environment and ALM best practices.

Optimize agent behavior and prompts, leveraging Azure AI Foundry for advanced model selection and custom grounding techniques like RAG when necessary.

Conduct thorough unit-level testing of topics, flows, and tool integrations, proactively troubleshooting conversational issues and connector problems.

Apply responsible AI practices, focusing on bias, safety, and hallucination checks throughout the agent development lifecycle.

Collaborate closely with architects and team leads on agent design, security considerations, and ALM alignment, actively participating in code and configuration reviews.

Requires strong development expertise, with hands-on proficiency in Microsoft Copilot Studio, including topics, generative orchestration, knowledge sources, publishing, and ALM.

Possesses a solid working knowledge of Power Automate for creating flow-based automation and seamless integration with Copilot Studio agents.

Demonstrates experience in configuring MCP Server/tool connections to effectively extend agent actions and functionalities.

Exhibits working familiarity with Azure AI Foundry for model selection, prompt engineering, and advanced grounding patterns such as RAG and agentic workflows.

Understands fundamental responsible AI principles and practices for bias and safety validation.

Experience with Agile delivery methodologies is preferred, complemented by strong debugging skills and a knack for troubleshooting conversational flows.
