As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, coding, and enhancing software components to meet specific business needs. This role involves leveraging modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions. You will focus on creating tailored software that addresses unique requirements and adapts to evolving demands, ensuring robustness and efficiency.

Expected to become a subject matter expert and operate independently. Active participation in team discussions and contributing to problem-solving are key. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate project needs into technical solutions and continuously improve existing software components for better performance and maintainability. Sharing knowledge and guiding junior team members, along with participating in code reviews to uphold quality standards, are also integral parts of this role.

A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience is required, with a strong emphasis on proficiency in the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform. Experience in developing and deploying scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions is essential. A solid understanding of distributed computing and big data processing concepts is expected. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, integration techniques, and the ability to optimize data workflows for performance and reliability are also important. A total of 15 years of full-time education is a prerequisite for this position.
