This role focuses on enhancing SAP Materials Management (MM) processes through configuration and by utilizing AI-assisted development tools. You'll streamline procurement, inventory, and supplier collaboration, integrating pre-built AI capabilities to boost productivity without the need for deep involvement in LLM development. Your expertise will ensure efficient operations and drive impactful results.

Configure and optimize SAP Materials Management (MM) processes, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Purchase Requisition/Order Management, Source List & Quota Arrangements, Vendor Management, Inventory Management, Material Master Data, and Release Strategies. Utilize AI copilots to generate functional specifications, validate configuration logic, create high-quality test cases, and automate documentation. Support end-to-end delivery from requirements gathering to hypercare, integrating MM with SD, FI, PP, QM, and external systems. Apply AI tools to accelerate requirement interpretation, process design, data validation, error diagnostics, test creation, and document generation. Integrate pre-built AI services for automated classification, predictive signals, and intelligent summarization of issues. Ensure compliance with procurement governance and audit policies. Participate in process optimization discussions supported by AI insights and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive MM solutions.

Possess a strong understanding of SAP MM, including P2P processes, purchasing document flows, vendor evaluation, and inventory management. Experience configuring material master, vendor master, PO/PR processing, goods movements, and release strategies is essential. Demonstrate hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-powered documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing accelerators. Ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into MM workflows is key, along with an understanding of responsible AI usage and its limitations. We require a minimum of 3 years of experience and 15 years of full-time education. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP MM configurations, clear communication, and a continuous learning mindset are crucial for success in this role.
