Responsibilities include implementing well-defined changes, writing and maintaining unit tests, and developing/maintaining development and test tooling. You will also assist with build and bring-up activities, reproduce and fix defects, and contribute to documentation updates. Furthermore, you'll actively learn AOSP workflows, the Car Framework property model, and team coding conventions, participating in code reviews and escalating any blockers promptly.

This position requires a minimum of 2-5 years of software engineering experience, with a strong background in Android or embedded systems. Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin is essential for writing clear, functional code and unit tests. Foundational C++ knowledge is needed to understand and modify existing code. A solid understanding of Android application and service fundamentals, along with basic Linux command-line competence and Git fluency, is expected. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong willingness and ability to quickly grasp platform-level concepts.
