This is a full-time role requiring 2-5 years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years in SAP MM Materials Management. A 15-year full-time education is a prerequisite for this position. You will be based in Bengaluru.

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions, focusing on designing, coding, and enhancing components across systems and applications. You will leverage modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Key responsibilities include configuring and optimizing SAP MM processes such as Procure to Pay (P2P), Purchase Requisition/Order Management, Vendor Management, Inventory Management, and Material Master Data. You will utilize AI copilots to accelerate the generation of functional specifications, validate configuration logic, create test cases, and automate documentation.

Additionally, you will support end-to-end delivery, from requirements gathering to hypercare, and integrate MM with other SAP modules (SD, FI, PP, QM) and external systems. You'll also apply AI tools to enhance requirement interpretation, data validation, error diagnostics, test creation, and document generation, integrating pre-built AI services to improve MM operations.

To excel in this role, you need strong SAP MM expertise, including a solid understanding of P2P processes, purchasing document flows, vendor evaluation, and inventory management. You should have experience configuring material master, vendor master, PO/PR processing, goods movements, and release strategies, with familiarity in integrating across SD, FI, PP, and QM.

AI-ready skills are crucial; this includes hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-powered documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing accelerators. You should be capable of integrating pre-built AI capabilities into MM workflows for automation and insight generation, while understanding responsible AI usage and its limitations.

General skills required are strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in procurement and material management, the capacity to translate business requirements into scalable SAP MM configurations, and clear communication skills. A continuous learning mindset and comfort with adopting AI-enabled productivity tools are essential. A minimum of 3 years of experience is mandatory, along with 15 years of full-time education.
