Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer, focusing on advanced SAP Materials Management (MM) solutions. This role emphasizes leveraging AI-assisted development tools and copilots to streamline the entire project lifecycle, from analysis and configuration to testing and problem resolution. You will be instrumental in optimizing procurement, inventory, and supplier collaboration, integrating cutting-edge AI capabilities to boost efficiency without needing to develop AI models from scratch.

Configure and enhance SAP MM processes, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Purchase Requisition/Order Management, Source Lists, Vendor Management, Inventory Management, and Material Master Data. Utilize AI copilots to accelerate the generation of functional specifications, validate configurations, create high-quality test cases, and automate documentation. Support end-to-end project delivery, from requirements gathering and solution design to deployment and hypercare. Integrate MM modules with other SAP systems (SD, FI, PP, QM) and external platforms using standard APIs and middleware. Apply AI tools to improve requirement interpretation, data validation, error diagnostics, test creation, and document generation. Integrate pre-built AI services for tasks like automated material classification, predictive signals, and intelligent exception summarization. Ensure compliance with procurement governance and operational controls, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive MM solutions.

Possess strong expertise in SAP MM, with a deep understanding of P2P processes, vendor management, and inventory control. Demonstrate experience in configuring material master, vendor master, purchase orders, goods movements, and release strategies. Familiarity with SAP integration across SD, FI, PP, and QM, as well as knowledge of IDocs and troubleshooting common MM issues. Have hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-powered documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing accelerators. Ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into MM workflows is essential. Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to translate business needs into SAP MM configurations. Possess clear communication and collaboration abilities, alongside a continuous learning mindset comfortable with AI-enabled productivity tools. A full-time education spanning 15 years is required.
