Seeking a Custom Software Engineer to design, code, and enhance system components. This role leverages modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions tailored to specific business requirements. The focus is on building custom software that meets unique organizational needs.

This position involves developing and optimizing SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) processes. You will utilize AI-assisted development tools and copilots to streamline requirement analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting. The goal is to deliver efficient Order to Cash (O2C) solutions, integrating pre-built AI services to enhance productivity rather than focusing on deep AI model development.

Key responsibilities include configuring and optimizing SAP SD components such as Order Management, Pricing, Delivery & Shipment Processing, Billing & Invoicing, Credit Management, and Returns & Refunds. You will employ AI copilots to accelerate the creation of functional specifications, validate pricing logic, automate test case generation, and enhance documentation.

This role supports end-to-end implementation cycles, from requirements gathering and solution design to configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Integration of SD with MM, FI, PP, WM/EWM, and external systems via standard APIs and middleware is also a core duty.

Enhance productivity using AI-enabled tools for process analysis, pricing issue diagnostics, impact analysis, and test planning/execution. Incorporate pre-built AI features into SD workflows for automated exception detection, intelligent order classification, and smart summarization of order/delivery issues. Leverage LLM-assisted troubleshooting to reduce incident resolution times.

Ensure solutions comply with organizational SDLC practices, audit controls, and pricing governance. Conduct workshops and solution walkthroughs, partnering with logistics, finance, supply chain, master data, and technical teams to achieve end-to-end O2C alignment. Contribute reusable templates and best practices enhanced by AI accelerators.

A strong understanding of SAP SD expertise and Order to Cash (O2C) processes is essential, including order creation, ATP, shipping, billing, credit checks, and pricing procedures. Experience with SD/FI and SD/MM integrations, as well as knowledge of master data, IDocs, outputs, and common SD troubleshooting steps, is required.

AI-ready skills are crucial, including hands-on experience with AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing/analysis. The ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into SD process flows is expected, alongside an understanding of responsible AI usage and its limitations in commercial workflows.

General skills include strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in O2C scenarios, the ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP SD configurations, and effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholders.
