This role focuses on developing and enhancing custom software solutions within SAP MM (Materials Management). You will leverage modern frameworks and agile methodologies to build scalable, high-performance applications. The position involves designing, coding, and improving components across various systems, tailoring solutions to meet specific business needs. A strong foundation in SAP MM and a willingness to adopt AI-assisted development tools are essential for success in this dynamic engineering position.

You will be instrumental in configuring and optimizing core SAP MM processes, including procurement, inventory management, and supplier collaboration. This role encourages the use of AI copilots and integrated AI capabilities to accelerate tasks like requirement analysis, configuration, testing, and problem resolution, boosting overall productivity without requiring deep AI model development expertise.

Key responsibilities include configuring and optimizing SAP MM processes such as Procure to Pay (P2P), Purchase Requisition/Order Management, Source List & Quota Arrangements, Vendor Management, Inventory Management, Material Master Data, and Release Strategies. You will utilize AI copilots to generate functional specifications, validate configuration logic, create test cases, and automate documentation.

Support the entire delivery lifecycle from requirements gathering to hypercare, integrating MM with other SAP modules (SD, FI, PP, QM) and external systems. Apply AI tools to accelerate requirement interpretation, data validation, error diagnostics, test creation, and document generation. Integrate pre-built AI services to enhance MM operations, such as automated classification or predictive signals, and leverage LLM-assisted troubleshooting to reduce incident resolution time.

A strong background in SAP MM Materials Management is required, with a deep understanding of P2P processes, purchasing document flows, vendor evaluation, and inventory management. Proven experience configuring material master, vendor master, PO/PR processing, goods movements, and release strategies is essential. Familiarity with integrations across SD, FI, PP, and QM, as well as knowledge of IDocs, outputs, and common MM troubleshooting patterns, is expected.

Candidates should possess hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-powered documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing accelerators. The ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into MM workflows for automation is crucial, along with an understanding of responsible AI usage and its limitations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in procurement and material management scenarios are necessary. Clear communication and a continuous learning mindset are highly valued.
