Seeking a Custom Software Engineer to design, code, and enhance system components, leveraging modern frameworks and agile practices. This role focuses on delivering scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs, with a key emphasis on SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting capabilities.

Utilize AI-assisted development tools and copilots to accelerate financial process analysis, configuration, documentation, test creation, and troubleshooting. The position prioritizes integration, quality delivery, and AI-enabled productivity without requiring deep model development or advanced LLM/RAG engineering.

Configure and enhance core SAP FI components, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, and Financial Closing. Translate business requirements into scalable SAP configurations, using AI copilots to expedite analysis and documentation. Support end-to-end delivery, encompassing requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare.

Integrate SAP FI with other SAP modules (MM, SD, CO, AA) and external systems via standard integration patterns/APIs. Employ AI copilots for drafting functional specifications, validating configurations, generating test scripts, performing impact analysis, and creating documentation. Apply pre-built AI services, such as anomaly detection and intelligent validations, to improve financial processes. Leverage AI tools for financial data interpretation, error diagnosis, and accelerated issue resolution.

A strong foundation in SAP FI S/4HANA processes is essential, including understanding the Universal Journal, Financial Closing & Reporting, AP/AR Processing, Asset Accounting, Banking & Cash Management, and Taxation/compliance. Proven experience integrating FI with CO, MM, and SD modules is required.

Demonstrated hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-based assistants, automated documentation tools, and AI-driven testing is crucial. A practical understanding of AI concepts, limitations, responsible AI usage, and the application of pre-built AI services is necessary. The ability to use AI for analysis, validation, test generation, workflow optimization, and issue resolution is key.

Candidates should possess robust analytical and problem-solving skills in finance processes and data. Excellent communication abilities and the capacity to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams are vital. The role requires translating business requirements into well-structured SAP finance solutions and a continuous learning mindset comfortable with adopting AI-enabled workflows. A minimum of 3 years of experience and 15 years of full-time education are prerequisites.
