Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer, focusing on developing and enhancing SAP Materials Management (MM) processes. This role leverages modern frameworks and AI-assisted development tools to create scalable, high-performing solutions. You will streamline procurement, inventory management, and supplier collaboration by integrating pre-built AI capabilities to boost productivity.

Configure and optimize SAP MM processes including Procure to Pay (P2P), Purchase Requisition/Order Management, Source List & Quota Arrangements, Vendor Management, Inventory Management, Material Master Data, and Release Strategies & Pricing. Utilize AI copilots to accelerate the generation of functional specifications, validation of configuration logic, creation of test cases, and automation of documentation. Support end-to-end delivery from requirements gathering to hypercare, and integrate MM with other SAP modules and external systems.

Apply AI tools to expedite requirement interpretation, process design, data validation, error diagnostics, and test creation. Integrate pre-built AI services for enhanced MM operations, such as automated classification or predictive signals. Employ LLM-assisted troubleshooting to reduce incident resolution times. Ensure compliance with procurement governance and audit policies, and collaborate with various teams to deliver cohesive MM solutions.

A minimum of 3 years of experience is required, with a preference for 2-5 years. A strong understanding of SAP MM, including P2P processes, purchasing document flows, vendor evaluation, and inventory management is essential. Experience configuring material master, vendor master, PO/PR processing, goods movements, and release strategies is necessary. Familiarity with integration across SD, FI, PP, and QM, along with knowledge of IDocs, outputs, pricing procedures, and common MM troubleshooting patterns is expected.

Hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM powered documentation tools, and AI assisted testing accelerators is crucial. The ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into MM workflows for automation and insight generation is required, along with an understanding of responsible AI usage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in procurement and material management scenarios, the ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP MM configurations, and clear communication skills are also vital. A continuous learning mindset with comfort adopting AI enabled productivity tools is a must.
