We are seeking a Custom Software Engineer to develop and enhance scalable software solutions using modern frameworks and agile methodologies. This role focuses on creating tailored applications that meet specific business needs and optimizing system components.

This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI assisted development tools and copilots. You will accelerate financial process analysis, configuration, documentation, testing, and troubleshooting within SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting. The role emphasizes seamless integration, high-quality delivery, and leveraging AI for enhanced productivity, without requiring deep model development expertise.

Configure and enhance core SAP FI components including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, and Financial Closing. Translate complex business requirements into robust SAP configurations, utilizing AI copilots for accelerated analysis and documentation. Support the complete delivery lifecycle from requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare. Integrate SAP FI with other SAP modules like MM, SD, and CO, as well as external systems, using standard integration patterns and APIs. Employ AI copilots for drafting functional specifications, validating configurations, generating test scripts, performing impact analysis, and creating documentation. Apply pre-built AI services, such as anomaly detection and intelligent validations, to optimize financial processes. Utilize AI tools for interpreting financial data, diagnosing errors, and facilitating faster issue resolution. Ensure adherence to SDLC, audit controls, finance governance, data accuracy, and system performance standards. Conduct workshops, solution walkthroughs, testing cycles, and troubleshooting sessions enhanced by AI insights. Collaborate effectively with finance users, functional and technical teams, and cross-module stakeholders to deliver high-quality, aligned solutions. Contribute to the development of reusable templates, checklists, documentation patterns, and best practices for AI-assisted development.

Possess a strong understanding of SAP FI S/4HANA processes, including the Universal Journal, Financial Closing & Reporting, AP/AR Processing, Asset Accounting, Banking & Cash Management, and Taxation. Demonstrate experience integrating SAP FI with SAP CO, MM, and SD modules. Have hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-based assistants, automated documentation tools, and AI-driven testing. Understand AI concepts, their limitations, responsible AI usage, and the practical application of pre-built AI services (model training, RAG, or agentic development not required). Be proficient in using AI for analysis, validation, test generation, workflow optimization, and issue resolution. Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills in finance processes and data. Possess clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams. Be capable of translating business requirements into well-structured SAP finance solutions. Maintain a continuous learning mindset and be comfortable adopting AI-enabled workflows. A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience is required, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the specified area. Full-time education for 15 years is a prerequisite.
