Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer focused on Packaged Application Development. This full-time role involves designing, coding, and enhancing components across systems and applications using modern frameworks and agile practices. You will deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Leverage AI-assisted development tools and copilots to accelerate various aspects of your work, including requirement analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and problem resolution. This role aims to streamline procurement, inventory management, and supplier collaboration by integrating pre-built AI capabilities to boost productivity. Deep involvement in core LLM development, RAG, or agentic AI systems is not required.

Configure and optimize SAP Materials Management (MM) processes, encompassing Procure-to-Pay (P2P), purchase requisitions/orders, source lists, quota arrangements, vendor management, inventory management, reservations, movements, and material master data.

Utilize AI copilots to generate functional specifications, validate configuration logic, create high-quality test cases, and automate key documentation. Support end-to-end delivery from requirements gathering to hypercare.

Integrate MM with other modules like SD, FI, PP, QM, and external supplier systems via standard APIs, IDocs, and middleware. Apply AI tools to accelerate requirement interpretation, process design, data validation, error diagnostics, test creation, and document generation.

Integrate pre-built AI services for enhanced MM operations, such as automated material classification or predictive signals for inventory and delivery issues. Employ LLM-assisted troubleshooting to reduce incident resolution times.

Ensure compliance with procurement governance, audit policies, and material master standards. Participate in workshops and process optimization discussions, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Contribute reusable templates and AI-augmented best practices.

A strong foundation in SAP MM is essential, including a deep understanding of P2P processes, purchasing document flows, vendor evaluation, and inventory management. You should have experience configuring material master, vendor master, PO/PR processing, goods movements, and release strategies, with familiarity in integrating MM with SD, FI, PP, and QM.

Familiarity with IDocs, outputs, pricing procedures, and common MM troubleshooting patterns is required. Hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-powered documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing accelerators is crucial.

Demonstrate the ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into MM workflows for automation and insight generation, with an understanding of responsible AI usage and its limitations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in procurement and material management scenarios are necessary.

Capability to translate business requirements into logical, scalable SAP MM configurations, coupled with clear communication and collaboration skills, is vital. A continuous learning mindset and comfort adopting AI-enabled productivity tools are expected. A minimum of 3 years of experience is mandatory, with overall experience between 2-5 years.
