This role focuses on building and enhancing custom software solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). You will leverage modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performing applications designed for specific business requirements. The position involves integrating AI-native patterns, including Large Language Models (LLMs), to create intelligent enterprise applications.

We are seeking an engineer capable of full-stack development, from platform fundamentals and administration to frontend and backend implementation. The role emphasizes building, deploying, and operating cloud applications, evolving them into intelligent systems through rapid prototyping and robust production hardening.

Develop and deploy cloud applications on SAP BTP, encompassing platform administration, solution design, and full-stack development.

Build backend services and APIs using Node.js, and create responsive user interfaces with SAPUI5, integrating seamlessly with backend services.

Design database artifacts and data models, connecting applications to SAP HANA persistence patterns.

Configure cloud environments, including subaccounts and service instances, and set up connectivity for external integrations.

Implement AI-native features such as LLM integration, tool calling, state handling, and retrieval-grounded experiences (RAG).

Ensure software quality through Git-based workflows, agile delivery, and effective debugging.

A strong foundation in SAP BTP application development, including platform architecture, administration, solution design, and full-stack implementation.

Proven experience in full-stack delivery, encompassing backend services, APIs, data models, and UI integration.

Solid understanding of software engineering principles, including clean code, testing, and CI/CD practices, with the ability to transition from prototype to production.

Minimum of 2-5 years of professional experience is required.

A 15-year full-time education is a prerequisite for this role.
