As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, coding, and enhancing complex system components and applications. Leveraging modern frameworks and agile practices, you will deliver scalable, high-performing solutions precisely tailored to unique business requirements.

This role demands a focus on developing and integrating robust ABAP Cloud solutions. You will work with cutting-edge SAP technologies, including SAP Fiori and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), to create seamless user experiences and powerful backend integrations.

Key responsibilities include designing and developing ABAP Cloud applications, APIs, and integrations. You will implement user-friendly SAP Fiori applications and utilize SAP BTP for advanced ABAP development. Crafting and integrating custom code, reports, and extensions will be a core part of your work.

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure clear requirement understanding and smooth integration. Optimize ABAP code for peak performance and resource efficiency. Participate in code reviews, offer technical guidance to junior developers, and support system upgrades and migrations. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving performance bottlenecks.

A strong foundation in ABAP programming, including object-oriented concepts, is essential. Significant hands-on experience with Cloud ABAP, particularly in RAP and clean core development using released APIs and Badi, is required. Proficiency in SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, ABAP CDS, and ADT is also critical.

Candidates should possess a solid understanding of software engineering principles and experience with agile methodologies like Scrum.
