As a Custom Software Engineer, you will independently drive projects and become a subject matter expert. You will actively participate in team discussions, contributing solutions to complex technical challenges. Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, translating them into effective technical solutions, and maintaining/improving existing software components.

Further responsibilities include documenting development processes for knowledge sharing, providing guidance and support to junior team members, and ensuring system reliability and performance. You will also be expected to contribute to the overall enhancement of payroll functionalities and data security within SAP HCM.

This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience, specifically with SAP HCM Payroll. A strong understanding of payroll processing, SAP environments, and HR operations is essential. Candidates should be proficient in customizing and configuring SAP HCM Payroll modules, troubleshooting payroll calculation issues, and familiar with SAP development tools.

Additional requirements include knowledge of data security and compliance in payroll processing. Strong written and verbal English communication skills, along with proficiency in MS Office and Excel, are necessary. Experience with HRIS processes and operations is also valuable. The role necessitates strong customer orientation, attention to detail, resilience under pressure, and effective organizational and prioritization skills.
