Seeking a skilled Custom Software Engineer to design, code, and enhance system components. This role involves leveraging modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions that address specific business needs. The focus is on creating software that drives change and empowers users, contributing to global software license compliance and cost optimization.

As an expert in Software Asset Management, you will play a key role in ensuring global software license compliance. Your contributions will help promote compliant software usage and provide essential consultancy to IT support staff and software consumers regarding change management processes.

Responsibilities include generating regular reports to improve data quality, monitoring and assessing software compliance data, and performing trend analysis. You will also identify additional data sources for enhanced transparency and collaborate with the SAM Data Warehouse Product Owner on functional requirements.

Key duties involve aligning with suppliers on process improvements, managing software renewal campaigns, reviewing supplier statements, and validating invoices. The role also includes placing software license orders through various channels and providing license information to requestors. Preparation of billing information for IT Infrastructure Controlling is also a part of the role.

A strong foundation in Software Asset Management is essential, ideally with an academic degree in business informatics, IT management, or equivalent experience through apprenticeships or training. Experience in accounting, procurement, or supplier management is required, along with familiarity with ITIL processes.

Candidates should possess a high degree of service orientation, work effectively in a team, and have excellent communication skills. A cost-aware mindset and creativity in identifying optimization potential are highly valued. Fluency in English, both written and verbal, and good MS-Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, are necessary. Resilience and flexibility are also important attributes for this position.
