Your role will also ensure optimal application performance, enhance user experience, and contribute to the organization's sustainability goals through responsible technology practices.

Key duties involve developing expertise as a Subject Matter Expert, actively contributing to team discussions, and providing sustainable and efficient solutions to challenges. You will meticulously document application processes and workflows, prioritizing long-term maintainability and resource optimization. Participating in code reviews is essential to uphold quality, adhere to best practices, and ensure alignment with sustainable development standards. Furthermore, you will optimize application performance to minimize compute usage, boost cloud efficiency, and support sustainability Key Performance Indicators.

A strong proficiency in SAP BTP Datasphere and Sustainability principles is mandatory, complemented by a solid understanding of application development methodologies. Experience with integration techniques and data management is required, along with familiarity in deploying cloud-based applications, emphasizing resource consumption optimization. You must possess the ability to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve application issues. Proven experience in applying Sustainability/Green IT principles to application design, cloud optimization, development, or operations is essential. Familiarity with sustainable coding practices, energy-efficient architecture, cloud carbon footprint optimization, or eco-friendly IT frameworks is also crucial.

Good-to-have skills include functional or domain experience relevant to sustainable processes such as EHS, ESG, COP30, green ledger, and UNEP KPIs. A minimum of 2 years of experience with SAP BTP Datasphere is required. This role necessitates a minimum of 15 years of full-time education. Candidates lacking demonstrated sustainability experience will not be considered.
