Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer and take the lead in architecting and delivering AI-native Oracle solutions. You will build and deploy bespoke AI applications and agents on OCI, specifically designed to integrate with customer data and Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM) processes. This role is pivotal in bridging advanced AI capabilities with robust Oracle data platforms.

Architect and develop custom Oracle AI solutions that enhance Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM) scenarios, leveraging OCI AI services and Oracle data platforms. Implement end-to-end Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and agent patterns, covering ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector search, re-ranking, and grounded generation with citations. Establish evaluation metrics and quality gates, including grounding checks, regression tests, and red-team prompts, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines. Engineer secure deployments using OCI IAM policies, network isolation, secrets management, and audit logging for production readiness. Manage AI operations in production, focusing on Service Level Objectives (SLOs), monitoring (latency, errors, token/cost), incident response playbooks, and continuous performance optimization.

A strong foundation in OCI Generative AI and Data Science, including vector databases and embeddings. Proficiency in Oracle data integration and governance, covering PII classification, access control, and lineage. Demonstrated expertise in Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM) to ensure AI outputs are grounded in Oracle processes and data context. Experience with LLMOps practices, including prompt and version control, evaluation harnesses, monitoring, and FinOps cost controls. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience, with the ability to take Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to production with a focus on governance and reliability. Completion of 15 years of full-time education is required.
