As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in crafting bespoke software solutions for our clients. Your typical day will involve a deep dive into client requirements, translating them into robust designs, and then bringing those designs to life through meticulous coding and thorough testing of application components. This role also encompasses the essential tasks of maintaining and enhancing existing software to ensure optimal performance and address evolving needs.

Collaboration is key, and you'll work closely with various teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery. Embracing new challenges and adapting to dynamic project landscapes are integral to success in this role, fostering a culture of continuous innovation and high-quality software delivery.

You will be expected to operate independently and develop expertise in your domain, becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Active participation and valuable contributions in team discussions are essential. You will be a key player in providing effective solutions to work-related challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee software development aligns perfectly with client objectives. Develop and maintain detailed technical specifications, ensuring clear communication about project milestones and progress. A strong command of SAP ABAP Cloud is a must-have skill for this position. You should possess a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and adhere to best practices. Demonstrated experience in debugging and optimizing application code for enhanced performance is required. An ability to design software components that are both scalable and maintainable is crucial. Familiarity with cloud-based development environments and associated tools is beneficial.

This role requires a minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience in SAP ABAP Cloud. A full-time education spanning 15 years is a prerequisite. The position is based at our Bengaluru office.
